Leveling and Progression

Leveling on Karana is very fast. Many pathways are viable and as a general rule, anywhere that you want to explore to level you should go for it!

That said, here are some zones along the way where you can find items of special interest that will help with future progression.

Speak to Arcanist Soloris in the Guild Lobby

Arcanist Soloris will provide suggestions based on specific level ranges, along with basic information on Armor & Weapon/Epic progression.

Note: Some of the Armor progression information is based on historic progression, when lower level caps were enforced. Some of these steps are most often skipped at this point.

For the most part, freebie gear from Hubert in the Guild Lobby (auto-equipped on all new bots created after 10/24/23) and random loots along the way are sufficient until until you reach Oasis of Marr, where gear farming really begins (this assumes you are leveling with a full raid of 23 bots).

Recommended Leveling/Progression Path

• Crushbone/Blackburrow (Epic 1.0s)
• Mistmoore
• Veksar
• PoHate/Fear (Epic 1.5s)
• Paw
• Frostcrypt (Epic 2.0s)
  • Pro tip: If you're having trouble finding 2.0s for specific classes, move around to other areas of the zone or look for new types of NPCs to kill.
• Crystallos (Non-vis Armor)
• Oasis of Marr (Oasis Armor & Premium Oasis Armor)
  • Oasis armor of each armor type is dropped by trash around the zone.
  • Captain Lucah will offer upgrades to Premium Oasis Armor if you bring him the correct materials
  • Beware of Rellop...you can't say you weren't warned.
• Epic 3.0s (Emissary of Karana in Guild Lobby)
• Epic 3.5 augs (Lord Karana in North Karana)

Tier Progression

• Halas Expeditions (Tier 1 - Savage Lords & Commander Yannia in the Guild Lobby)
• Crypt of Shade (Tier 2 - Commander Rael in the Guild Lobby)
• Guk A (Tier 3 - Quellious Hand in the Guild Lobby)
• Plane of Shadow (Tier 4 - Karana Champion in the Guild Lobby)
